COURSE PROJECT BRIEF · ORIGINAL TRAINING ASSIGNMENT

Graphic Design with Canva: the work you will make

Create a fictional small-business campaign: a design brief, mini brand guide, three social posts, a three-page carousel, a portrait adaptation and an A5 flyer proof, with an asset log and design rationale.

What your work should demonstrate

  • Turn a brief into a readable visual message
  • Apply typography, colour, contrast, alignment and spacing
  • Create social graphics and flyer proofs using Canva Free
  • Present a coherent campaign with responsible asset use and a clear handoff

Build a reviewable evidence package

  1. Brief and source index. Name the audience, intended result, software and files included. Label fictional data and training scenarios clearly.
  2. Original editable work. Keep working files and dependencies. Document any external assets and the permission needed to use them.
  3. Checks and iterations. Show a baseline, one meaningful revision and the evidence you used to judge it. Include settings or test results where the course requires them.
  4. Reflection and viewing link. Explain your decisions, repaired problems and remaining limitations. Test the link while signed out, and keep passwords and personal records out of the submission.
